Eastern Plumas County is blessed with some amazing snowmobiling country, from exhilarating hill climbs for the experienced, to scenic tours for the novice. It is not uncommon to get a fresh storm one day and be sunny and 50 degrees the next, perfect! For the more experienced rider, check out the Lakes Basin Recreation area, with easy access to miles of untouched back-country, including hundreds of moderate to steep hill climbs and bowls. If it’s an easy ride and beautiful scenery you’re  after, visit the as yet undiscovered Lake Davis Recreation area, where riding all day in beautiful country without seeing another soul is more common than not.
